Immaculate Conceptions
Floating between being and unbeing, seeing and unseeing, being heard but not seen; do we defer to our dreams, or prefer to refer to the herd mentality? And why does it seem, we must suffer to be free? Must freedom come with a fee, and whose path do we lead? Or are we but sheep, sound asleep in our manger? The divine birthed in nature, is it one in the same then? And is sleeping safer, or do we awaken? But as they say, when truth may be stranger, therein lies the danger, for mother persuades us to not talk to strangers. But what of the wise men, who bear gifts in disguise, then? The despised men, whose words seem like lies, when, in truth, you might find them to be really fine friends. Then does it depend on how you define them? Or does it begin in how your mind finds Zen? I find there's a fine line between being dependent and having a friendship. You can grip them too tight, or you can just let your friends slip. It depends on how the pen fits... the lines wind as the pen flits - as the mind tries to refine the rhyme and finds that it's endless. Yet the penmanship of Zen will fit room for open endings, through which heaven's sendings blur the boundaries with the blessing of their blendings.
